Before you book
Questions & details
When will I receive my images?
Model digitals are delivered within 48 hours. Medium Format Film Portrait is delivered in approximately two weeks to allow for lab processing. Other individual-session images and Polaroid scans are delivered within seven days.
How do booking and payment work?
Individual sessions require a 50% deposit at booking, with the remaining 50% due before the shoot. Booking deposits are collected through Calendly and Stripe. The deposit is non-refundable for client cancellations, except where a refund is required by law. An inquiry alone does not reserve or pay for a session.
Can I reschedule?
For talent and automotive-owner sessions, give at least 48 hours notice before your scheduled start time to transfer your deposit once, without a rescheduling fee, to an available session taking place within six months of the original session date. The deposit remains non-refundable.
What happens if I cancel?
For talent and automotive-owner sessions, cancellations with at least 48 hours notice qualify for one deposit credit toward an available session within six months of the original session date, not a cash refund. With less than 48 hours notice, or for a no-show, the deposit is forfeited with no automatic credit. Any prepaid balance for the unperformed session is refunded. Refunds required by law are not restricted by this policy.
What if I am suddenly ill or have a serious emergency?
Please contact Alphpixels as soon as possible; do not attend a shoot while ill. For sudden illness or a serious emergency affecting a talent or automotive-owner session, Alphpixels may approve a one-time deposit credit, considered individually, toward an available session within six months of the original session date. This exception is not automatic.
What if Alphpixels cancels my session?
If Alphpixels cancels your individual session, you may choose a free reschedule to an available replacement date or a full refund of your session payments, including the deposit.
How may I use my images?
Individual-session images include personal use, portfolios, and agency submissions. Commercial or paid advertising use requires separate agreement.
Are raw files included?
No. Raw files are not included. Your package specifies the delivered images, scans, or edited films.
How does travel pricing work?
Travel is $0.70 per mile round trip, charged only for the portions of the journey beyond 30 miles from Minneapolis. The first 30 miles each way are excluded.
